This Powerblanket Standard 5 gallon bucket heater is a highly efficient, low wattage heater. The patented heat spreading technology and full coverage design reduces the amount of wattage required to obtain optimal heat. Safe to use on most metal and plastic containers.
Rapid-Ramp Technology is a smart feature of this Powerblanket that allows for decreased "heat-up" time and better efficiency. Models with this feature heat up quicker to bring materials to desired temperture, then decrease watt density to simply maintain temperature.
If you will be using this Powerblanket with an open headed bucket, you need to take in account for heat loss through the opening. We recommend that you either cover the opening with a Powerblanket Barrel lid or using a Powerblanket with hotter temperatures.
A Barrel Lid is available and can be used on top or on bottom of the barrel to bring the material to a desired temperature even faster and to help maintain the heat in cold weather, measuring 2’x2’ in size.
This heater uses a revolutionary new patented heat spreading technology that heats quickly and evenly without burning product. Our solutions are GREEN and use 1/3 of the power of conventional band heaters.
Because of the Closed Cell Insulation Design, oil will not absorb into the heater. Easy to wipe clean and maintain.
Each barrel-blanket heater has a 6ft. male end cord.
