The patent pending Universal-In-Tank Filter Bag Housing is the answer to your filtration problems. You get the advantages of an industrial size filter bag housing without the high cost, space requirements and mess.
The Universal-In-Tank Filter has a modular design so you can mount it inside or on top of your drum or tank. The mounting bracket is designed to fit the radius of a 55 gallon drum. The mounting bracket can also be used in a 110 gallon drum. There are 8 mounting holes in the lid. The bracket can be removed and the UIT mounted directly on top of a tank or plastic tote. Simply cut a hole, drill the eight 1/4" bolt holes in the top of your container and bolt the UIT in place.
When the Universal-In-Tank Filter differential pressure
reaches 35psi and is disassembled to replace the filter bag there are no loose parts to drop. Simply loosen the eye nuts and swing them out of the way. The top slides off and you change the bag. Any liquid that is spilled
in the process of changing the bag stays in the drum. The mess associated with changing the bag is eliminated.
The Universal-In-Tank Filter has a 1" NPT inlet and 1/4" NPT pressure gauge opening.
UIT has an aluminum head/top and the support basket is 304 stainless steel.

The Universal-In-Tank Filter is currently available for use with industrial 7"x32" size #2 filter bags with a
metal ring.
