The Powerblanket 30 gallon Drum heater is a highly efficient, low wattage heater. The patented heat spreading technology and full coverage design reduces the amount of wattage required to obtain optimal heat. Safe to use on most metal and plastic containers.
Plug it in and the blanket begins to heat immediately, reaching full temperature in less than 30 minutes. The entire blanket heats up, not just the area around the heating elements. Blankets produce a uniform & consistent heat.
If you will be using this Powerblanket with an open headed drum, you need to take in account for heat loss through the opening. We recommend that you either cover the opening with a Powerblanket Barrel lid or using a Powerblanket with hotter temperatures.

Because of the Closed Cell Insulation Design, oil will not absorb into the heater. Easy to wipe clean and maintain.
